well i left HK in '93 was cause my parents were worried bout the handover back to china
then when i got to sydney i didt go to skool (Y) HURRAY =P
(made me a yr older than every1 in my class when i got to melb)
chinese (canto) was the only spoken language at home at that time..so..
but then as soon as i got to melb, the teacher put me with a guy that was HK born as well.
our catch phrase was " we are chinese, we MUST know the language" so we went to wkend chinese skool together.
we both got top grades.... another story for normal skool >_>

i've never been any good with eng. i learnt mando prior to even touching eng
i can communicate fluenty nowadays but writing formal reports of essays are still impossible for me.
all thx to the aid of a malasian teacher who took time to teach me the basics of english when i spoke no word of it.

went to sydney first then moved to melbourne when i was about 5.
studying in AUS is bad cause my english sucks. SERIOUSLY!!
i spend all day on PA and not alot at uni... lol
