Set in a reimagined martial arts world, this tale follows the legacy of the Five Greats — legendary figures whose untold pasts shaped the martial world. The legendary martial arts manual, Nine Yin True Sutra, reappears, unleashing chaos across the martial world. A young woman named Jialan becomes a “living map” to the manual’s location, making her the target of many rival factions. In her journey, she crosses paths with top masters — Huang Yaoshi, Ouyang Feng, Duan Zhixing, and Hong Qigong — who each have their own stakes in the struggle.

All agree to settle their rivalry at the Huashan Sword Conference, where the victor will claim the Nine Yin True Sutra. At the climax, Wang Chongyang of the Quanzhen Sect defeats his rivals, but the true mastermind behind the turmoil suddenly reveals themselves — sparking a final battle for justice in the martial world.
