Joy of Life (庆余 年) also known as title Qing Yu Nian. This drama aired for the first time on November 26, 2019 on the iQiyi channel.

Starring handsome actor Zhang Ruo Yun, he was a cast of the Chinese drama The Evolution of Our Love. Whereas the main female character is played by singer and actress Li Qin who became Yuan Chun in the popular drama Princess Agents in 2017. She will also appear in the Mandarin 2020 drama "The Wolf" with the handsome Darren Wang.

Synopsis of Joy of Life

In the Eastern Jin twilight years, Liu Yu usurped the throne to become the emperor of the founder of the Liu Song dynasty. Consort Ye's newborn son was the only nobleman who had survived a bloody purge, and was adopted by the Imperial Secretariat Fan Jian.

At the age of eighteen Fan Xian's upcoming political marriage with a princess made him very popular among ambitious princes, though he carefully avoided joining one faction.

Fan Xian was praised for his loyalty to the emperor during two consecutive rebellions, though later discovered that he was the biological son of a tyrannical ruler, and that Liu Yu was the one who sent assassins to kill his mother.

To seek revenge and royal peace, Fan Xian became involved in a deadly political struggle with the emperor, and finally succeeded in forcing Liu Yu to abdicate.
