Off the bat I suppose i should note they are only semi-circumaural.... They sit on my ear rather than around them, which is a slight disappointment to me. As a result they compress my ear lobes as opposed to sitting lightly around my ear like my Bose headphones. I can see this leading to fatigue over long listening periods. I figure i have a pretty average head size (note physical head size, not ego) and these are still placing a fairly strong clamping force on my noggin. I'll hope that since the band is made of metal and rubber that this will eventually decrease over time, but as it stands they can't compare in comfort to my Bose phones.

In terms of sound quality they blew me away from first listen, the treble and mids are exceptional, and the bass is extremely tight, even before burn in. I love being able to feel my music through headphones and these definitely fit the bill.

Overall I'd give them a 6.5/10 for comfort and a 8.5/10 for sound quality.

Hmmm... so read a tutorial on head-fi on a user who bent the metal band to fit his head a bit better, tried this and its much improved... comfort increases to a 7.5. Still not as good as a fully circumaural headphone though
