It was released here at the beginning of November at ncix.com (they have 4 stores around here) and that's where I got it from =P Definately not a performance machine, but was more than enough to do internet stuff and things like Word, etc. (low resource requirement stuff)
I did load xp on the system though since the linux that it came with was very restrictive (only an 'easy mode' was allowed, unless if i was missing something) and tossed in 1gb ram and a 8gb sdhc card for more storage.
It's good for a light, travel laptop that you don't plan to do heavy stuff on (ie. photoshop, premiere, generally any graphic-heavy stuff that you would most likely do on a desktop instead)
But then, a word of warning, it's sluggishly slow (900mhz celeron m) and it took me quite a few MINUTES to load something like spybot for the first time, so, ya.
I'd call this a laptop-LITE
