dann: Yeah, there are a lot of Sony's out there. Sony was my 3rd choice... good thing I didn't get it. Canon was my 1st/2nd choice. But the one I wanted wasn't on sale, and this one was super cheap.

The camera was $170 after taxes. There aren't many things you can do with the camera, not a lot of options like the Canon, but I'm happy with this. The quality of the pics, depending can turn out amazing.

Here's one pic I took with the camera. Taken with the close up option.

that camera was my choice also.. talking about the canon sd100.. but i eneded up with the sony dsc-w80... wasn't bad choice.. picture is pretty good... for $130.. what you expect? the canon sd1000 like 2 weeks earlier than my purchase of the sony was $150... good thing i waited and go the sony instead
