OK.. its been a while so I have a few things to post:

First,

Acer Revo 3600

specs (if you're curious) Atom N330 Dual Core Processor, NVIDIA ION Chipset, 2 GB DDR2 SODIMM ram, 160 GB 7200 RPM drive, Wireless N, 6 USB ports, 1 e-SATA port, Optical PDIF port (also running a 4 GB Sony USB stick on readyboost)

(uses about 27 watts at full power, versus almost 300-350 watts on my gaming desktop i was using prior as a media center)

Also: My external drives for networked media

(Have almost maxed my 4 TB of storage... going to buy a 2TB WD external once the price drops under 150.)

Current Setup.

Second:

Air Purifier bahahaha, on sale on boxing day.

Third: 2 HDMI cords, 1 optical toslink splitter (suuuper cheap off monoprice), 2 cat6 cables, 2 optical toslink cables

Fourth: (kinda old but i don't think i've posted this yet) R4 Card

Fifth: Pearls Before Swine Characters (part of a christmas gift for my girlfriend)

DSC04532.jpg

Sixth: Head Flexpoint 10 OS Tennis Racquet

Also bought this: Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard 3000

wouldn't have posted this one, but I want to give a warning to anyone thinking of buying a microsoft wireless keyboard set. Don't.

The range on this thing is about 4 feet, after which it drops off completely, making wireless almost completely pointless. The wheel on the laser mouse is terrible, it doesn't function properly in games and it has no real feedback, which makes scrolling a huge chore.

Compared to my logitech wireless wave, which has a keyboard range of almost 16 feet (was cleaning it in the bathroom and ended up launching a bunch of programs) and has a way better mouse.

If anyone ever asks my opinion in the future, i will always recommend logitech over microsoft after this experience.

also, just installed my HDMI cables...

they are HDMI 1.3a, my old cable was a first generation HDMI cable. The difference is HUGE.

on my 42" Toshiba switched to my computer the colors are almost twice as deep as before and the clarity has increased atleast 50% as well. I'm absolutely blown away by the difference a 2 dollar cable can make lol.

I love you monoprice :).

it was on sale for like 30 dollars, regular 80. also its formfactor is good, the keyboard is much thinner than my logitech. Unfortunately, due to the poor range, its useless for my media center in my room.

so i switched the logitech i was using on my desktop downstairs with the microsoft.

And yeah, if you're looking for cables, definitely hit up www.monoprice.com shipping is really slow, took almost 2 weeks, but i got like 8 things for 20 dollars lol.
