Pretty awesome taking pictures of anything and everything. I'm only scratching the surface and I haven't even tampered with the manual controls yet.

I got the kit with the 18-55mm Nikkor lens.

I'll probably wait and get a new lens next year after I've completely exhausted all the types of shots I want from the camera's features.

I had some gift cards to use at a local electronics store, I picked up the kit and a 16gb SDHC card for $760USD after taxes.

It's a converted mtb; a hand-me down from my uncle. The bike itself is like over a decade old. I know the brand is mongoose, but I forget which model # it is. Obviously its not an expensive super good bike, since I've been neglecting it.

I've changed from knobbies to hybrid tires (though I've been contemplating slicks), and added some things to make it street legal and etc.


I really want to get a road bike. But it's just not the season to be ordering one or buying yet.
