450 mb/s right?

hahaha that thing just came out a couple days ago no? I remember reading about it in Engadget. 180 dollars is a bit too steep for a router for me, but the tech in there is super high end. Nice choice!

Finally. I've been lusting after these for over a year.

$150 after shipping.

I broke my promise to myself that I wouldn't buy anything over 100 bucks this month :( but I'll pick up an extra day of work to make up for it next month lol

It's pretty beast, range is amazing, speeds over wireless are close to wired, and configuration was pretty easy, i say pretty easy... cause i knew what i was doing... lol then again I didn't just do the normal setup... it's working like a bridge with my provided router/modem in one from verizon

Were you using your previous router as a bridge too? That could also be the source of your wirless issue at your home. I actually disabled the Verizon Wifi and use my Airport Extreme mainly as the wireless router. And I get consistent speed across the house. Try both and see what's better.

damn.. that router looks tempting. My wifi's been getting whole bunch of hiccups.. but then again.. 100 something for a router..

and @ ff why not get the 650s? lol. damn I just looked and they have these 598s.. sexy as hell.. Might get a pair once they drop a bit in price.

I don't have the money right now for 650's, and the 598's are definitely sexy, but at 100 dollars more than the 595's the increase in quality doesn't make up for the increase in price; atleast not from the reviews I've read.

The 595's are enough for now. I'll step it up to HD800's one day I suspect... its a sickness.

lol, the old router was the one broadcasting.... the verizon router/modem was shut off from broadcasting...... the fact of the matter is that my sis is getting full signal strength with the new router in the same place as the old.... i also streamed avatar 1080p last night without a single bit of lag, as i saw the ps3 media server push more bitrate through... it was worth it... that other one was already pretty old....and a budget one at that..

also... my internet has stopped dropping randomly at times...

upload speed has dropped it seem but then again im paying for 15/5:

and in retro spec in megabytes instead of megabits:
