i sense canon/nikon fanboys! lots too -surr lol
admittedly sony is not in the same league...when it comes to pro level gear, but for casual users, for me anyway (cant say for others) i like my sony (a300). altho a big factor in me getting a sony was how u can use minolta glass, which i have a few from older rigs. guess it depends on what u believe ur needs are, like a350 vs a300, a350 has higher MP, but a300 has faster continuous shooting.

i dont like the hands on feel of the entry level canons, nikons are well nikons....expensive, but nice

i like shooting manual, barebones style, other than live view for those odd angles, so i dont know about this "outdated", curious to know what are these new advancements tho

sony a100 has a highly recommend rating from dpreviews o_O lolz i don't know what they're talking about.. and i wouldn't regret that camera since it only cost $188 w/tax.

Auto image stabilization, auto dust cleaning on the sensor, new sensor firmware, higher MP, better body design, more shooting options and increased AF points to name a few

wow, big spender lol
"Auto image stabilization, auto dust cleaning on the sensor" my a300 actually has these two in body as well, but the dust cleaning on sony (the only one i have exp with) is pretty useless lol, very annoying...and yea when i first got into dslr's and stuff i was amazed at how the good lenses are more expensive than the body, i agree pretty crazy

oh and runtohell where did u get the a100 for so cheap? haha, cant even get a lens for that price...i want a second body if i can get one for so cheap

^ I knooooooooooooow. No, not really expensive they were I think... $8.19 or something like that after taxes. I bought them from Claire's :)
Cheaper than these ones I bought. I'm too lazy to take pics of them, yay for internet!

$13, but they're so pretty ^.^

Nice camera runtohell. My family aren't Sony fans though. We've been looking at Canon or Nikon.

mouse is ok, don't like the how it feels on the thumbs and i don't really need it for gaming just wanted a good mouse.

why did you get the old one? the new one has the forward button which is easier to surf internet...

and for logitechs, it takes some getting used to... i have the newer version (blue) and even though i had the mx518, the g5 took a little getting used to..
